The Boodles - Preview

In the idyllic setting of the Buckinghamshire countryside sits Stoke Park, a five-star country club spa and hotel. The Mansion building is in the middle of 300 acres of beautiful parklands, lakes, gardens and monuments.

Known for becoming the first country club in the UK over 100 years ago in 1908, Stoke Park also holds claim to one of the ‘100 best golf courses in the world’, however arguably its crowning jewel is The Boodles tennis tournament.

Since 2002, some of the world’s best tennis players have fought it out to win the coveted Boodles trophy. Set in the week before Wimbledon, the Boodles is a perfect warm-up for tennis professionals trying to get their hands-on tennis’ biggest prize.

This year is no different as The Boodles entertains players such as: Alexander Zverev, Juan Martin del Potro, Roberto Bautista Agut and Nick Kyrgios, to name a few.

Tennis clothing brand PlayBrave have been named as the official sportswear sponsor for the event and Managing Director Simon Dowell had this to say: “We are delighted to announce that PlayBrave will be continuing our relationship with the Boodles Tennis tournament at Stoke Park, by continuing to be their official sportswear partner.  The event is very special to us and a perfect fit for our brand where we combine sport and British summer fashion in the traditional and luxurious exclusivity of Stoke Park.”

The tournament always provides great tennis entertainment on the court, luxury hospitality, fine wine, champagne and gourmet food, all served in the beautiful traditionally English country garden setting of Stoke Park Country Club.

As part of the sponsorship deal, PlayBrave will provide clothing for the ball girls and stewards for the five day event.  PlayBrave is a British premium quality sportswear brand which launched in London in November 2010 and has built a strong niche in the tennis market in only six years. The brand is now recognised in some of the very best clubs in England including the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, The Queen’s Club and The Hurlingham Club.

Simon Dowell continues: “Since our launch in 2010, PlayBrave has established a reputation for producing classically designed, premium quality, high performance tennis wear for the serious and recreational tennis player. The Boodles gives us the ideal opportunity to showcase our brand in a unique and exclusive setting.”
